Vision Expressed

A drama that deals with the themes of vision and how we need to be able to establish a clear vision to effectively move forward as a church and as individuals.

This drama is set in an opticianís. The optician (Doctor) is sat behind his desk when Mr Collins begins his journey into the office. Mr Collins walks very unsteadily and has to feel along the edge of the desk as he enters. Mr Collins is wearing the wrong kind of glasses for him, and these glasses are not at all clean.

Eventually Mr Collins is able to sit down and then the optician begins to chat to him about the problems Mr Collins is having with his vision. We find out that Mr Collins bought these particular glasses in a car boot sale. The optician tells him that in order to function properly in life your vision needs to be well defined and not blurry. Blurred vision will cause you nothing but headaches in the long run.

The optician tells him that heís been spending far too much time living with the vision that has been imposed on him by someone else. Eventually the optician gives Mr Collins a much better pair of glasses for him, and Mr Collins finds out that when you find the right vision, you need to keep it clear and precise.
